Good morning all, here's to another great season. Not followed in and outs of other clubs so my predictions will be based on last season's form.

Birmingham Moseley 2-5 Cambridge
Has Brum's flirtation with relegation last season given them a kick in the right direction? I think Cambridge will edge it and get their first win in about 3 years.

Bishops Stortford 5-1 Dings Crusaders
I imagine the first day of the season is a good time to face Dings as Bristol's fresh faced academy players get sent there to play their first game for the club.

Bury St Edmunds 5-2 London Scottish
Welcome to Bury, good to have another club in our part of the country. My understanding is Scottish are more Harlequins than haggis.

Leeds Tykes 5-2 Camborne
Leeds found their feet towards the end of the second half of the season. I was going to welcome Camborne as another local rivalry as assumed they were that town outside Cambridge. Turns out you need to follow the village people's advice to get there.

Rams 2-5 Sale FC
Pretty disappointing end to the season for Rams so going to quote Enya this time. Sale away, Sale away, Sale away (win).

Rosslyn Park 5-2 Plymouth Albion
Very big game to kick off the season. Rosslyn Park are the kind of team who I don't fancy on a cold, wet windy day in Stoke but certainly do on a lovely sunny day in South London.

Solid first season for Tonbridge. Welcome to Sheffield, another big City club. Will give Tonbridge the nod here.

Agree with an earlier comment that my team - Rosslyn Park - are far more effective on our plastic pitch in good weather conditions.
The opening game against title favorites Plymouth will be very close and even closer if it stays dry. You have to admire the amazing support that Plymouth enjoy at home and no doubt they will bring several coach loads of supporters to make it a cracking atmosphere.
