Incredible performance by TJ to sneak a win by a single point at the RAG against a Championship side last season.

Went to Camborne as a neutral. Huge crowd and superbly organised parking etc.
Albion pack was substantially larger than Camborne's and very, very physical at the breakdown, but Camborne have a bit of dog about them and scrapped for everything. There problem was all of the penalties were against them and Albion kicked to the corner and rolled them over.
Albion's discipline and ability to defensively soak up attack after attack until the opposition made a mistake was impressive. Camborne received two yellows during the match, but that appeared to galvanise their remaining players on the pitch. However, they conceded a couple of tries in those period, how different then it could have been.
Albion have strengthened their starting squad immeasurably, in particular in the pack, but the season is not decided by the starting players, but those that sit behind them. Nat 1 is very physical and sapping, particularly playing Albion's brand. They lost two key players today who are pivotal to their future progress. Ewan Jenkins came off and Albion pretty much failed to convert anything once he'd left the pitch and Ben Moa, a big carrier at 8 also left the pitch.
Albion wanted to bully Camborne and Daly, Eames and Doak were omnipresent in this. Eames looked as though he swang 2 or 3 times in front of the officials, Daly was consistently aggie. Albion benefitted from very toletant officiating.
Camborne dogged out the game with a steel Matavesi backbone that will prove very, very tough to break in Nat 1. They were an incredible triptic, galvanising players around them and looked big, big men. They balanced and soaked up a lot of the Albion bullying with finesse and counter punches.
Set piece dominance for Albion, but Camborned look good enough to stay a while. I wonder if Eames and the other two will be starting next week...

Great analysis from a neutral. I’m sure all coaches will be viewing the videos of each club to try to detect any weaknesses. Park play Camborne next week in what is sure to be a tight match. My personal observations are that Plymouth will only get better as the weather and pitches worsen. Rotherham proved this last season. If Ladbrooks had odds on Plymouth to run out eventual Champions we could be looking at 2/1 fav.
